A.                   An applicant for membership must have a Graduate Degree in a health-related discipline, such as MHA, MPH, Ph.D., MS or MA and presently hold a title, function or position relating to the management of, or policy formulation of an organization whose function is to deliver healthcare along the continuum, or influence the operation, growth or development of hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare providers, insurers, regulators, educators, or consultants,

or,

have a Graduate Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law or another field and presently hold a title, function or position, as defined above, and have at least one (1) year of experience in this field,

                or,

have a Baccalaureate Degree and presently hold a title, function or position as defined above and have at least two (2) years experience in this field,

                or,

hold a title, function or position as defined above and have at least five (5) years experience in this field.

B.                   Applicant must submit a curriculum vitae and a table of organization of his/her institution, or office, clearly indicating his position and function in the table of organization, and a letter of recommendation from a member of the HEC in good standing.

C.                   Verification of educational credentials and other documents submitted with the application of membership may be required.

D.            Any application for membership by an individual who does not meet the aforementioned criteria may be considered by the Executive Board, which may, in its discretion, waive the criteria upon review of said individual's credentials, where inclusion of said individual as a member would further and/or enhance the purpose of the Organization.
